W&S DISTRIBUTION

How it works

Application to first order.

Everything the process involves, including the parts most distributors leave vague. Read this before you open the form and the form takes fifteen minutes.

  1. 01

    Apply

Submit your business details and resale credentials.

The application asks for more than a contact form because a wholesale account is a credit and compliance relationship, not a newsletter signup. Business identity, resale certificate, EIN, purchasing profile and fulfillment preferences all get captured once so nobody has to chase them later.

About fifteen minutes, with your resale certificate to hand.

  2. 02

    Get verified

We check your credentials before the account opens.

Resale certificate and federal EIN are verified, business identity is confirmed, and the retail operation is checked. This protects the accounts already on the network as much as it protects W&S — a distributor that does not verify is a distributor whose product ends up anywhere.

Typically a small number of business days once documents are complete.

  3. 03

    Access dealer inventory

Approved accounts see wholesale pricing and real availability.

Dealer pricing is never shown publicly and is not present in the public site’s source, metadata or structured data. It exists behind account approval, which is both a commercial requirement and a condition of doing business upstream.

    Immediately on approval.

  4. 04

    Order and indicate interest

Buy what is available; tell us what you want before it exists.

Available product is ordered directly. For upcoming releases, an account can register non-binding interest — a quantity you would take at an indicated price — which aggregates into the demand W&S carries upstream when it negotiates for allocation.

    Ongoing.

  5. 05

    Receive

Pickup, local delivery or carrier, according to your address and the order.

Accounts inside the delivery loop are served on the local route or can collect at Palm Harbor by appointment. Outside the loop, scheduled runs and carrier shipping cover the territory. We route to what is genuinely fastest for the order in front of us.

Varies by address, product and order.

Inside the application

Eleven sections, and what each one is for.

The length is not padding. Each section supports a different decision, and knowing which is which makes the form considerably faster to complete.

§SectionWhy it is askedWhat it asks
ABusiness informationEstablishes that the entity exists and matches its registration. Verified against public records.Legal name, DBA, entity type, EIN, year established, address, phone, email, website.
BOwner or authorized purchaserEstablishes who can place an order against the account — which matters the first time someone other than the owner calls in.Contact name, title, direct phone, email, and any additional authorized buyer.
CBusiness typeEstablishes the resale channel. An online-only retailer is approved on the same standard as a storefront.Business type, store hours, retail square footage, number of locations, storefront or profile URL.
DResale credentialsThe sale is tax-exempt at the wholesale stage and we have to be able to document why. This is the section that most often delays an approval.Resale certificate number, certificate year, and an upload of the current certificate.
EPurchasing profileTells us what to stock. Your total across all sources, not just what you would buy from us.Approximate monthly purchases and primary product categories.
FCurrent sourcingW&S is built to complement your existing distributor relationships. Knowing what you already source well means we concentrate on what you cannot get. Confidential — never shared with suppliers or other dealers.Current wholesale sources, biggest sourcing challenges, and anything else.
GWhat you would want from W&SThis directly informs purchasing. A named product line is far more useful than a category.Products of interest, expected monthly spend with W&S, preferred purchase format, and whether local replenishment matters.
HDelivery and receivingDetermines how your address is routed and what a driver needs to know.Fulfillment preference, preferred delivery days, receiving hours, delivery notes.
IPaymentAccounts are prepaid at launch. You can register interest in future trade terms here; it records interest and does not affect approval.Preferred payment method and an optional trade terms interest.
JTrade referencesOptional. Useful for larger accounts and for anyone who would like terms considered later.Up to two trade references.
KCertificationFour statements we rely on, and an electronic signature. Read them rather than ticking through them.Accuracy, resale purpose, allocation acknowledgement, acceptance of dealer terms, signature and date.

Ordering upcoming product

Three stages, kept separate on purpose.

Conflating these is where disputes between shops and distributors come from. Each stage commits a different amount, and you should always know which one you are at.

Non-binding

Indicated interest

You state a quantity you would take at an indicated price, before W&S has committed capital. Nothing is owed by anyone and no payment is taken. This is what lets us aggregate real demand and take a number upstream.

Binding request

Preorder

W&S has opened the product for order and you have requested a quantity at a stated price. You are committed subject to the terms. Between here and confirmation the quantity can still change, because our own supply can change.

In writing

Allocation confirmed

W&S confirms in writing what you will actually receive. Only a written confirmation creates an allocation. Quantity, price and timestamp are recorded and visible to your account.

Ask which of the three you are at, in those words. If the answer is vague, you do not know what you are committed to — and neither, probably, does the distributor. Read the preorder policy

Receiving product

Three ways an address is served.

Fulfillment tier describes how an address is served, not how fast a box arrives. No page on this site promises a delivery window, and that omission is deliberate.

Delivery loop
This address falls inside the working delivery loop out of Palm Harbor. Scheduled delivery and dealer pickup are both practical.

Default for

Pinellas County, Hillsborough County, Pasco County

Scheduled run
This address is served on a scheduled run rather than the daily loop. For a full restock that works well; for a single urgent item a carrier is often faster, and we will say which.

Default for

Hernando County

Carrier
Carrier shipping is the normal method for this address. Scheduled delivery is available by arrangement for accounts ordering at volume.

Default for

Polk County, Manatee County, Sarasota County, Citrus County

Individual communities can differ from their county default — east Pasco moves to a scheduled run while the rest of the county sits in the loop, for example. Every one of the eighty-four communities we serve has a page stating its own tier. Browse the territory

Ready when you are.

Have your EIN and current resale certificate to hand. Progress saves as you type.
