W&S DISTRIBUTION

What we distribute

Sealed product, by category.

These pages describe categories W&S distributes, not products it currently holds and not brands it is authorized to carry. Each one covers what the category actually demands of a retailer — configuration, seasonality, and the buying mistakes that cost the most in this region.

9 categories

Baseball

The deepest category in the hobby and the one Tampa Bay retail is structurally built around.

Season

Builds from January, peaks February through April with spring training and the season opening, holds through the summer with the Florida State League, and softens in the late autumn before the winter product cycle.

Football

The highest-velocity modern category, with a demand curve that turns on almost overnight.

Season

Quiet through spring, building through the draft and camp, sharp onset with the season, sustained through the autumn, and peaking again through the gift season in November and December.

Basketball

The most volatile category in the hobby, and the one where allocation discipline matters most.

Season

Builds through the autumn with the season opening, peaks through the winter and the gift season, holds through the playoffs in spring, and softens through the summer.

Hockey

Structurally under-bought across Florida, and genuinely under-served in the one Tampa Bay market with year-round ice.

Season

Builds through the autumn with the season, holds through the winter and the gift season, peaks through the spring playoffs, and goes quiet through the summer.

Soccer

The most consistently under-bought category in the territory, and the one where local demographics diverge hardest from the national average.

Season

Follows international club competition through the autumn, winter and spring rather than a domestic season, with substantial spikes in major international tournament years.

Multi-Sport & Other

Racing, combat sports, golf, entertainment crossovers and the mixed products that do not sit in a single league.

Season

Follows the calendar of each underlying sport rather than a single season, which in practice spreads demand more evenly across the year than the major categories.

Pokémon

The largest single line in the hobby, and the one where allocation discipline decides whether a shop can stock it at all.

Season

Effectively year-round, with pronounced peaks at each major set release and through the November and December gift season.

Supplies & Storage

Sleeves, toploaders, magnetics, boxes and storage — the most consistent margin line in any card store.

Season

Effectively aseasonal, with modest lift alongside major releases and through the gift season.

Trading Card Games

Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and the rest — a distinct business with distinct economics and its own release cadence.

Season

Driven by publisher set releases and organized play cycles rather than a sports calendar, producing several distinct peaks a year.

What these pages will not tell you

Pricing and availability live behind account approval.

Dealer pricing does not appear anywhere on the public site — not in the page, not in its source, not in its metadata, and not in its structured data. That is a deliberate technical decision rather than an oversight. Wholesale pricing behind authentication is a normal commercial requirement, and for several product lines it is an explicit condition of supply from upstream.

Nothing on these pages states a quantity in stock or an availability. Approved accounts see real status against every product — in stock, allocated, on preorder, expected, or unknown — and where W&S does not know an arrival date, the record says so.
