Gulf-to-Bay and Ulmerton cross the county east to west and carry the mid-county retail centers. And the beach communities from Tarpon Springs down to St. Pete Beach run on a tourism economy that is seasonal, cash-heavy and completely different in rhythm from inland retail. Yes. W&S Distribution Group, LLC is headquartered in Palm Harbor, in unincorporated north Pinellas. Purchasing, dealer account management, allocation and fulfillment coordination all work from that office. Visits are by appointment and it is not a retail walk-in location. Approved dealers can schedule a pickup at Palm Harbor. We ask for scheduling rather than walk-in because orders are pulled and staged against an appointment, and because an unannounced arrival at a facility holding sealed inventory is a security problem for both of us.
It changes the mix more than the volume. A shop with meaningful tourist traffic sells more at lower price points and more impulse configurations — blasters, hangers, single packs — through the winter season, and shifts back toward hobby boxes and case-break participation with the local base in summer. Purchase quantity flexibility exists to let a store follow that curve instead of buying to an annual average.
